Libby's Mother's Day cupcakes.

Today I was making cupcakes for Mother's Day for my Mum.

I enjoyed making the unicorn bark and smashing it into smithereens.

I found it challenging to ice the cupcakes because it's hard to do a big spiral.

My soap powered boat

Today I was making a soap powered boat for my daily challenge.

I enjoyed watching it zoom across the sink.

I found it challenging to make it work it took three tries!

My exploding volcano!

Today I was making an exploding volcano out of playdough for our STEM challenge.

I enjoyed watching the explosion when the vinegar and baking soda reacted.

I found it challenging to stop pouring the vinegar in because it kept going and it looked really cool! I nearly used all of Mum's vinegar!

Next time I would change the colour of the lava to something different, maybe orange.

ANZAC Day

This is my Great Papa Monty who fought in World War II.  He drove a supply truck in Crete.  We made ANZAC biscuits using my Great, Great Nanny's recipe and a poppy lantern to remember all of the people that fought for us so that we would be safe.  We will remember them.
